Jonathan is a 8-time Pro Bowl starter at left tackle...Started all 16 games at left guard as a rookie in 1996, then made the switch back to his natural left tackle spot, and has cemented a starting berth in the Pro Bowl in the last two years...Won second-team All-Pro by AP following last season...After the 1987 season, he earned All-Pro honors from Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News, Pro Football Weekly, College & Pro Football Weekly, and Football Digest...Also won All-AFC from Football News...Physically dominating lineman capped a tremendous rookie season with All-Pro selections by Sports Illustrated and Dallas Morning News...Was the first-ever player selected by the Ravens...Was the first offensive lineman selected in the 1996 draft and the fourth player overall (after Keyshawn Johnson by the Jets, Kevin Hardy by the Jaguars and Simeon Rice by the Cardinals)...First of two first-round picks by Baltimore in 1996 (LB Ray Lewis of Miami was selected with the 26th overall choice).

Pro Bowl starter for second consecutive season...AP second-team All-Pro...Missed the final three games of the season with an ankle injury...Snapped a 45-game starting streak (second-longest on team) vs. Minn. (12/13) due to the ankle injury...Was replaced by James Atkins...Forced to leave game at Tenn. (12/6) with sprains to both ankles, the first time he missed extensive action...Played through the injury for as long as he could, as four of the starting five offensive linemen suffered injuries (Wally Williams - neck; Jeff Blackshear - abdomen; Orlando Brown - ankle)...Started 44th straight game in 38-31 win vs. Ind. (11/29), and helped pave way for Priest Holmes. 103-yard rushing performance.
